Captain Giuseppe Borgna has been IFSC chief executive since november 2003. Since 1997 he is Alitalia Express Ground Operations Post Holder & Security manager. He flies on Embraer 170 as type rating examiner and has passed a total of 10.000 flying hours. He was company safety manager from 1996 to 2005. He joined the Italian Air Force Academy in 1974 with the class “Pegaso III”. He served as fighter pilot and flying instructor on F-104 Starfighter in the 20th OCU squadron. Captain Borgna spent 21 years in the Air Force holding several operational positions. He became Squadron Commander of the 90th USAF FTS on T-38 in Texas in the Euro Nato Joint Jet Pilit Training program. Before leaving the Air Force he served at the Air Staff as chief of the training section. In his career he attended several courses on safety and quality. Treasurer
Mr. Stanislao Lancia after the degree in Sociology at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and the Master in Communication at the Superior Institute of Communication, he started to work with Alitalia in the Flight Safety Communication Office. In 2001 he jointed in IFSC like a public relations man and in 2004, after having frequented the Accident Prevention Course organized by the Italian Military Air Force, he became IFSC's training manager. During the same year he obtained the diploma of Master in Aviation Sciences at the University of Bologna. In the last years he is project manager of some initiatives developed by the IFSC. In March 2008 he is appointed Treasures of Italian Flight Safety Committee.
